A smart first setup should get you moving with minimal friction. That usually means one recovery product, one flexible resistance product, and one heavier strength product at most.

The goal is not to own the full gym. The goal is to remove excuses and make the next session obvious.

  • Buy for the session you will repeat, not the fantasy version of your routine.
  • Keep one lane for recovery and one lane for progressive overload.
  • If a product is hard to store, it needs to justify that cost immediately.
